So the fact that Hamilton and Alonso didn't get on in 07 has made Alonso the British tabloid scapegoat for the rest of his career. The amount of fuss created when Button overtook Hamilton in England was unbelievable, Hamilton truly is protected from upon high. @aupathletic27 I do think there are team orders. To the team owners, they probably don't care which driver wins, as long as it is one of theirs, and they get the constructors. I was just saying that your second point may not have to do with team orders. Hopefully you are not actually thinking Jenson could really threaten Lewis on the track, and team orders is the only thing to prevent it.

By the way, when Hamilton ran out of fuel on that qualifying session: the rules say that the car must reach the paddock by its own, not pushing it, there shoud had been a penlaty....again, nobody mentioned it. (Its obvius, bacause the pilot gets an unfair benefit qualifing with less weight than the rest).

@aupathletic27 I think another thing is that Massa genuinely seems like a good guy, and this race was almost exactly a year since his accident. He hasn't really stood out this season, and people have worried that he would not make it back to his previous form on track. It would have made a nice story for him to win, but an obvious use of team orders stole that win from him.

@aupathletic27 Well, regarding your second point, Hamilton has also received "save fuel" instructions. Remember he even ran out a couple of races ago and had to park on track. Since they don't have refueling this season and they want the car to weigh as little as possible they are going to be cutting it pretty close. We have heard the same thing from other teams as well.

Can anybody explain me why the british newspapers have attacked so much Alonso because of the other day pass to Massa, I dont geit it, because you must remember: 1º) Hamilton did EXACTLY THE SAME to Kova in 2008, check videos (and won the cahmp by 1point), no problem, nothing happened. 2º) The "Jenson, save fuel" instructions these season in Mclaren seem to me clear team orders, and its ok., no problem. So, why the news dont mention that? Are you scared of Fernando or what is it?
