@OlderG0ds they sabotaged it, but IRIAF claimed that they have reverse engineered everything about the F-14, except engines and some avionics. (most likely they used russian ones lol) well they already produced Phoenix's alternative, a modded reverse engineered air-to-air version of iHAWK SAM. they said that it's far cheaper, more maneuverable, have better radar tracking and have about the same range as the Phoenix. however they said it can only fire 4 HAWKs simultaneously instead of 6 lol

@itom95 Possible but unlikely. Phoenix have a high miss rate at that far out. Also it's rumored that leaving right before the Iranian revolution the US technical personnel in Iran sabatoged their F-14's lol and made it impossible to fire the Phoenix. That and without the supply of engineering support, spares, upgrades and etc. from Hughes that the Iranians would have an extremely hard time using them/ keeping them operational.

With regard to Iran winning, unless the Europeans supplied troops with an IQ higher than room temperature the USA would have another Vietnam or Korea or even Cuba. It was on the wrong side during both world wars and still managed to extend it's borders as well as having tiny casualties. First time I went on water I was 5. Went water skiing. Then by the time I was seven caught big rock in drift nets and went trot lining and hunting. I've crab potted, hand tong, patent tong, drift nets, anchor nets, shrimped, eeling, shedded soft crabs and caught muskrats and turtles. You can say I know the water.

i think ill make a video this summer...ive seen lots of videos of them and there either too short or super bad sound quality...i have an 01 202 lpx and its got the side exhaust which sounds beastly lol...so i think will...ill make 2 videos...one of it idling on the trailer and one of it on the lake=)

yea they were right on the other side of the green and yellow nordic. if you pause at :16 you can see the stayton motor sports sign and the tige sign. thats where they were. there were only 3 of them, a 22' 24' and a 28'. and yea there nice boats...i have one:)

@nevsky1961 cigarette also made a 13' cigar boat called a "mini hawk". they made them from 1984-1989, they are rated for a 25hp but can handle a 50hp, and can get up to 55mph with that . if i had on it would have a 75hp. a mini hawk is an awesome boat, they are very rare too. definetly my favorite boat.
