Also meant to add certain episodes are not complete in the original, for example the whole thing with the two cinemas sharing the one film and having to transport the different reels back and forth, In the original it's just left but in the directors cut there is a conclusion. There is a lot more sex in this version (probably not necessary) and I think when this was originally edited the studio just wanted to take all that out so it remained innocent.

I really liked the directors cut because it altered the story slightly and made you reconsider Alfredo's devotion to "Toto". If anyone loves the original, I would recommend watching this version at least once.

It's not the mith that I dislike about Hercules and Xena, and I do like it when (like in Merlin) they make the story a bit lighter or create a new plot...it's just the commercialisation of it that I dislike, bad settings, completely out of charachter people or out of time customs...although as I said, even Merlin is not historically correct...but I find it more bearable.
