Nothing to do with economy - there are people out there who are collectors or whatever.I'll say this, I would buy them if they didn't have that paint job on them, nice work but I really like those things in their original state. Just my opinion.

The cans didn't sell because they are ridiculously over priced, not because the economy. I hate when antique store owners blame they're woes on eveything else, disregard that they're crap is over priced. Stick to thrift stores.
