what ever happen to the record company that Milli Vanilli was with?

@juker606: Technically, the challenge of life is to distingush "real" and fake for the sake of the sciences we as creators endevaour in...yes, we're all one, but I'd rather have competition like this than any other kind of war that involves killing people.

the managers and execs are human trash.

so what? everybody is fake and who would work with that producer ever again after ratting them out? did he have to pay back money too being he was just as guilty? lots of people got rich making that album and lots of people got a good album they could listen to 100 times over for $10. what's the problem?

@JeterScutaroFan83 you make a good point ! I prefer guys who can dance and put on an entertaining show than a girl who can't dress, can't dance and can't sing like Brithey !

Nowdays and even before Milli Vanilli, Rock 'n roll was full of backup musicians who were the ones that recorded the albuns

@joe9320 Britney Spears lip-synched her OWN voice at concerts. Milli Vanilli didn't even sing their songs. And it's not Milli Vanilli's "fault" that the "music industry is in a mess of disposable crap." "Disposable crap" has been around for the entire history of western music.

Funny. What was scandal and horrible then is accepted now. We just call it Disney pop now.

Notice the awkward hug between one of the dudes (Pilatus?) and Kris Kristofferson :D
By: MRLOL785. on 10 Apr 10, 01:03:40
@joe9320 yeah. They removed the songs right after it aired and put in generic songs. I still have that episode on Beta somewhere, but you find it all over the net. When you look back, they look truly ridiculous, tbh.

Didn't I mention that there was an episode on Super Mario Bros. about this "group"? They are the main cause for the singers that we have today. Britney Spears lip-synched her songs! It's Milli Vanilli's fault that our music industry is now in a mess of disposable crap in what people call it as "music"!

@KarmicOmen@KarmicOmen Unfortunately, Frank Farian, as well as Clive Davis, who played a large role in making Milli so successful, mostly got away scot-free. The press tended to believe their alibis versus what both Rob & Fab have said. Farian continued to have success, even in the U.S., with dance groups like La Bouche & No Mercy, and is still a successful multi-millionaire to this day, largely due to his first successful group Boney M., of which the male singer lip-synched 4 Farian's own voice
